  • 2pm – 3.30pm Registration for Route to Crook @ Community Sports Centre
  • 3.30pm U16 2.5 mile Road Race
  • 4pm Route to Crook – 5 mile Road Race
    Goleen – Crook (walkers start at 3pm)
    Refreshments in Sailing Club, Crookhaven after race
  • 6pm – 8pm After Race music with Tony O’Shea
  • 9pm Live Music in Crookhaven with Amadans & Bodhrans

    Monday August 9th
  • 9pm Charades / Semi Finals & Finals at Barley Cove Beach Hotel. Sponsored by Barley Cove Hotel.
    Check locally for venues.
    Earlier rounds last week of July onwards.

    Friday August 13th
  • 11.30am Art Competition in Parish Hall, Completed entries to be in by 12.30pm. Judging at 2pm, view till 3pm. The Lawrence Stafford Memorial Shield for Overall winner.
  • 8pm Registration for Fancy Dress at Playschool Building
  • 8pm – 10pm Disco Roadshow with DJ
  • 8.30pm Parade of Fancy Dress in Village to Main Stage
  • 9pm – 9.30pm Introduction of participants for King and Queen followed by Official Opening. Also adjudication of Fancy Dress
  • 10pm Music on Street with “Irish Weavers”
  • 11pm pub Talent Singing Final – Tommy Hodnett Memorial Trophy €100 Prize sponsored by Brian & Marie O’Sullivan

    Saturday August 14th
  • 10am Small Boat Fishing Competition from lower Pier in Goleen
    Entry Fee €10. Mark Pinfield Memorial Trophy
  • 10.30am Historical Guided Walk by pat McCarthy Assemble at Health Centre Car park with transport.
  • 2pm – 5pm Country Market & Car Boot Sale in Community Centre
  • 2pm Festival Children’s Races at Community Centre
    Registration for U6 Carting – Reg. U8, U10, U12 for Sunday
  • 4pm Children’s Peddle Carting U6 at Community Centre
  • 7pm – 9pm Music in the Street with Noel Maguire
  • 10pm Music in the Street with “The Music Makers”
